WHAT IS THE COHEN’S LIFESTYLE PROGRAM?

The Cohen’s Lifestyle Program is a rapid weight loss and wellness program through nutrition. It is individually prescribed based on your unique blood profile. It uses food to correct the imbalance of hormones that cause weight gain triggering the body’s natural ability to burn fat rapidly and safely.

Program History

DR. COHEN’S RESEARCH

His research isolated the hormones involved in obesity and weight loss. This led to the conclusion that obesity is a “disease”. It is a medical condition arising out of a hormonal imbalance. Obesity or being overweight has nothing to do with lack of self-discipline but is a metabolic problem.

THE HORMONES INVOLVED

Dr. Cohen discovered that maintaining one’s healthy body weight can be achieved through the delicate balance of three main hormones – insulin, serotonin and the human growth hormone. Metabolic problems were researched to be caused by the imbalance of these three hormones.

  1. Human Growth Hormone (HGH) – is the hormone responsible for stimulating growth, cell reproduction and regeneration of cells. Its main functions include fixing and repairing our cells in the body and the slowing down of the ageing process. More importantly, it burns fat in the body by breaking it down rapidly to make it a source of energy.
  2. Serotonin – is the hormone released in the brain to tell the body when it is full or satisfied. It is also known as the “feel good or happy hormone”.
  3. Insulin – is the hormone that regulates blood-glucose levels and is responsible for moving sugar from the blood into the cells where it is used as energy. It also controls hunger pangs and cravings.

THE SOLUTION

Using food to address the hormonal imbalance is the safest and most natural way to lose weight. Dr. Cohen only “prescribes” foods tested to allow the body to do what it is naturally designed to do which is to burn fat! There is no need for costly (and possibly unsafe options) like pills, formulated drinks, machines and injections.
